Emerges from the Celebrating Bolton’s Victorian Literary Legacies research project conducted by staff and students in the English Department at the University of Bolton. The project uncovers a range of literary and historical artefacts from the nineteenth century that presents Bolton as a site of central significance in the world of Victorian publishing.
