Jason Brewer

Jason Brewer is a second year Bachelor of Arts student at the University of Bolton studying English and Creative Writing.

My monologue 'Tears Leave Tracks' is published in The Bolton Review, issue Eight.

I am a passionate northerner, interested in local history and culture. I am also a music buff, into fashion and design / architecture with a particular bent towards Brutalist and Art Deco.

Literature: George Orwell, The Road to Wigan Pier; Alan Sillitoe, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning; Mark Fisher, The Ghosts of My Past.

You can find me, walking deep in concentration, over the moorland fells with headphones on.
